Weld Australia has endorsed the redevelopment of Cairncross Dockyard Brisbane, following a site briefing attended by Weld Australia executives, the Federal Minister for Skills and Training, the Hon. Andrew Giles MP, and the Member for Griffith, Renee Coffee MP.
Early engineering integration defines the welding procedures the project will use. Welders are then trained and certified to ISO 9606-1 against those specific procedures, bringing them to job-ready in months rather than years, with a defined progression into more advanced work.
“What is being developed at Cairncross is a practical blueprint for how Australia should approach complex industrial delivery.” Geoff Crittenden, Chief Executive Officer, Weld Australia
